A family painting company with 25+ years in the trade.

The Diamond family has been in the painting industry for 25+ years. Downtown Painting & Flooring Contractors NYC grew out of that experience, and Mez Diamond is the founder.

Our crews are experienced, skilled craftsmen. The standard is the same on every job: protect the space, prep the surfaces properly, and finish clean.

We work with property management companies across the city. Our teams can turn over 50+ units a week, because we know an empty unit means lost revenue.

We are cast iron and vault light specialists, and have repaired, restored and replaced thousands of pieces. On landmarked buildings we work within the Landmarks Preservation Commission rules and keep the historic character intact.
